Professor Shen Fu specializes in proton and heavy-ion radiotherapy and precision radiation treatment for complex solid tumors. His clinical focus includes pediatric tumors, head-and-neck cancers, thoracic malignancies and abdominal or gastrointestinal tumors where highly conformal radiation may help protect nearby critical organs. International training and clinical experience at Johns Hopkins and Fox Chase Cancer Center broadened his approach to multidisciplinary radiation oncology. Through national research leadership and particle-therapy program development, he has contributed to the clinical translation, treatment planning and quality control of advanced radiotherapy technologies.
